Name: Midnight Wanderer (Wander)
Age: Four
Description: A full black thoroughbred mare with a flowing mane and tail, matching the color of her pelt. Her eyes are a gorgeous, glowing amber with a hint of hazel color that seem to glimmer in the sunlight, as well as the moonlight.
Her pelt is undamaged and shines like midnight in the sunlight, it has the feel of soft velvet to it.
Height: 16hh
Breed:Thoroughbred
History: Wander grew up in a small but tight her. There she was taught her manners and the rules of surviving out in the wild. She respected everyone and they returned the attitude back towards her. However, there came a time when Wander had to undergo a series of test from her father when she was around the age of one. He had told her that if she were to stay in the herd. In order to stay she had to be able to keep up with her father for at least three miles or so, at quite a quick speed. This was to insure that she would be safe so he wouldn't have to worry about her. The other thing was that she had to not only be able to survive on her own, but to also be able to take care of an elderly, or injured, horse while doing so. This way if the herd got split up she would be able to take care of anyone she was near.
That was the thing though, this was a close herd and everyone looked after each other. Making it necessary for her to be able to do the same.
At the age of three; however, Wanderer decided to leave and find a herd of her own to live with. It took half a year to find this land and then another half of a year to figure out a plan for herself...
Personality: A sweet mare since she was born. Has a bit of a temper on her and doesn't tend to know when to stop. She has a heart of gold though and will be either your greatest friend or your worst enemy. However it is hard to get her to hate someone or thing. She adores foals very much and is very outgoing and playful. There are times when even the littlest of details will catch her eye. Along with times where she will have to double glance at things in order to make sure that what she had seen was really there.
Likes:
-Running with others at times
-Swimming
-Mock fighting
Dislikes:
-Rude horses
-Snobby
-Predators
Habits: Paws the ground occasionally
Enemies: none at the moment
Role playing Example:
A brush of the wind, a quick bow of the head as she snorted was all that happened before there was a sudden flurry of powerful, black legs galloping swiftly over the grassy area. Having appeared in the darkness, Wanderer was hidden well. The nightly shadows hiding any sign of her. Of course when it came to her eyes... well those were what gave her away. The bright Amber eyes with a hint of hazel basically glowed in the moonlight. Moonbeams bounced off of her glossy pelt, making her appear to sparkle or glimmer.
With a shake of her head, the black shadow mare took another leap forward, ready to let herself have a bit of fun while no one was around for the moment. She just enjoyed running period. She would have been even more happy if someone where to join her; however, the silence at the time was quite peaceful and calming.
